I have in a grid in the first column an icon/link to open the detail form in a shared tab. On the DA I have a client side condition which checks a field for a certain value. If the value is != 0 it executes the false action. IN my case it is a simple message box with an OK button. Well the interesting thing is, it does not wait for an answer and it still opens the detail formm but not in a tab. I have for you pleasure a demo created. ws-fx-1963, app-id 301, pages 2 and 3. enjoy.

The issue you have with the message box is that the click event continues, in this case it's an edit link which simply directs you to another page. Wait for result will only wait to execute the next TRUE actions it does not perform any action on the original event.

The reason why the content loader does not have this behaviour is that the content loader automatically prevents the default click event within the plugin, since the goal is to take the URL/link and load the content into the current page, not unload the current page and load a new page.

Within your false actions you must manually prevent the click e.g.

this.browserEvent.preventDefault();
