Hi Team,

Date format not recognized issue when the DATE_FORMAT is set to MM/DD/YYYY.

We are setting date format as below for the below item.

In report column attribute for start_date we are using number / Date format as &P0_DATE_FORMAT.

The below errors we are getting from different pages.

  1. A system error occurred during processing contact administrator

  2. ORA-01821: date format not recognized.

It is not working on our instance and It is working fine in foex instance.

Please do needful at the earliest.

Can you please point us to your test case on our APEX 4.2 environment -> demo.tryfoexnow.com.

Can you also please put the page in debug mode and send the html source to support@tryfoexnow.com as well as a page export.

Thank you

Can you please make sure that P1112_DATE_FORMAT is set in session state by a process i.e. "Before Header".

You cannot rely on a default value for the item, since we will do substitutions during page render and if the format mask is null then the default application date format will be used.
